We celebrated an early Christmas with family, watched the kids in their church holiday program -- followed by screwdrivers and hot Italian beef -- and closed off the weekend sledding in the park.
I ask you, can they get any cuter?As we were nearing bedtime last night, The Deuce suddenly remembered something special she had tucked away in her backpack: a time capsule ornament.
In her words...
It's an ornament. I made it. Inside on the little pieces of paper are notes about my life now and what I want to do when I grow up. Some day, on Christmas, I'll smash it open with my cane and read what I wrote way back in 2009.
Yep, she plans to crack that baby open with her cane. Because, obviously, she'll be an old lady and will walk with a cane.
It just doesn't get any better than this.
