Proof.

I haven't gotten to the DMV or Social Security office to change my identity yet. We're waiting on the marriage licence to arrive before I can legally become Mrs. W.

Each day I optimistically check the mailbox. But the bills, catalogs and coupon mailers are all that's in there.

I can't really do anything without the certificate. I can't even change my identity at work. So in the meantime, I still answer my phone and sign my name with my old name, prompting questions from curious co-workers.

Luckily, in addition to my sparkly new wedding band, I have photographic proof that the wedding actually occurred.

Looking back, the wedding was everything I'd hoped it'd be - a celebration of love and family.
